Aged 23 to 27, the Squad is a new model for young adult food-allergic living. We manage 13 food allergies (including Celiac disease), along with all the other goodies--cat allergies, environmental stuff, wheezy lungs, dry skin, and a severe spider phobia (wait, that's just Hawkeye...).

Born out of the need for roommates who understand the dangers of sharing kitchen sponges, Allergic House is a radical social experiment in improving the quality of life for people with allergies. Instead of minimizing our dietary restrictions, we're maximizing the positive effects they can have on our lives by building a community of like-minded folks.
With few resources available for food-allergic young adults, we're creating the resources and community we wish we had ourselves.
